Dr. Matthews was invited to be a guest speaker at the University Students’ Council Food for Thought Gala in January 2015, where she talked about food literacy and the FRESH program.
Dr. Matthews was invited to be a guest speaker at the Ontario Home Economics Association (OHEA) conference in Toronto (2015, March). The presentation was entitled, Get Real! Get Fresh! Food Resources and Education for Student Health.
Dr. Matthews and Anne Zok were invited to present at the Ontario University College Health Promoters’ Association Annual Fall Meeting at McMaster University in Hamilton Ontario. In November 2014 they delivered their presentation entitled, FRESH: A peer education student wellness initiative.
