World food day was “the perfect day for the Food Resources and Education for Student Health (FRESH) program to educate fellow students on healthy alternatives.”
FRESH’s activities during World Food Day are highlighted in the Purpology blog.
FRESH set up a table in the UCC at the University of Western campus, where they engaged students about healthy eating. FRESH members “coached other students on how to make stir fry”, and were running a pachinko board trivia game with questions about healthy living. The event “was a fun way for students to feel more involved and interact with the students in the FRESH program.”
