Local FRESH Program Goes Global at United Nations Conference in New York – News Release

Dr. June Matthews was invited to present a workshop on the FRESH program at the UN DPI/NGO Conference on August 27-29. The conference will provide an opportunity to give input in the planning of Sustainable Development Goals for the future. The FRESH program has a peer education component, FRESH ED, which “addresses several Sustainable Development Goals, including food security, health and well-being, education, and sustainable production and consumption.” Ms. Zok and Dr. Paula Dworatzek also explain how the FRESH program is helping build a more sustainable future.
